On Your Website
Your client visits a section of your web site that is dedicated to this operation. When using the Infosite service, this section will be invisibly linked to your Dispatch-Mate database. As far as your customers are concerned, they are still on your website.
The customers enter their ID number and password, which gives them access to the main menu. From the menu, they can:
- Trace a specific order using various trace options.
- View all of their orders for most recent status, selecting the options they wish to see.
- Enter a new order.
- Customer can select shipper/consignee from a list, or make a completely new entry.
In Dispatch-Mate
Our software ensures your database and website information are in sync. It performs the following tasks:
- Updates the data your customer has access to is based on the time frame you have set in the global preferences of our Dispatch-Mate software.
- Receives the new orders, which your customer has entered through the web site. This action is much like receiving e-mails and the frequency is also controlled though the global preferences.
- Allows you to select which customers will have web access and to set their password.
- Allows you to review all new orders and either accept them which sends them to Dispatch-Mate's Available Load Table, or refuse them which deletes the order. In both cases, your customers are notified by e-mail of the order's status.
- Update current load status with additional information through the Carrier tab of the load and records the time of the entry. Only most current entries will appear on the web site after update.
- Automatically update your database for new Shippers or Consignees entered by your customer.
- Receive new orders from Web module on the Available Load table. All dispatchers logged on are notified of the arrival of a new load.
- Send a load confirmation by e-mail to your customer.
